How much time do you have before the missile is launched towards the end of the game ?
What are some good angles to about beating this part and maybe what weapons to use and such ......?
Also is there a trick or secret way to get more time to stop the activation sequence ?

It shouldn't take too long, after you've set it off.
Basically what I did at this part, when you're in the room, at the Missile part, send your team to the double doors, and you take the door on the right. Hang there a while, shooting outside, and take as many out as possible patientkly advancing. When there aren't many enemies left, then blow it up :P
'Tis how I did it, if you have any smoke, that'd make things easier.
Also, at the start of this scene, when you're in the elavator, you can walk out of the door straight away (when they look closed, you might have to press RT or something?) and you'll be at that part straight away, skipping approzx 20 minutes.
