Ok, I just got my ps3 today and a rock band. So all I did was put in the time and date and everything with the drum sets only. I got it started and I see that the drums work perfectly and the other instruments too, except for the mic. I don't know why so can any one please help me?

Harmonix has said that there will be problems with some mikes. You could send it back to them or just use a headset.
Connect the controller. Mine didn't work either until I did that. Since there are no buttons on the mic, it needs the controller. Hope I helped.
