button problem !! plz help

First of all, when I start the game and at the main menu it says press "x" to start, if I press "x" nothing happens !, I have to press "START" button.

When I am playing things like poker or black jack or hourse shoe game, it says to quit press "o" and to place a bet press "x", if I press "x" it asks me do you want to quit poker as if I pressed "o".

Each time I place a bet in poker or black jack I press "x" it gets me to the quit menu

In the arm wresling I couldn't play as I have to rapidly press "x" and each time I press it gets me to the quit menu !!

First off, check the control settings.
If they seem right, then it's your controller.
See if the buttons work normally, and if they work for other stuff, the it's your disk, in which caseyou'll have to get a new one.

Check your controls in the Settings menu, and if they're fine, try another controller.

I will give you a tip in arm wrestling as I have the same problem, press x then x again to cancel then hold x to reserve strength, you'll get the hang of it sooner.
