make money easier and faster?

Yeah, hunting is the fastest way of money making fairly early on. Just kill, skin & sell every animal you find. That will net you some fairly decent money.

If you don't feel like doing that, depending on where you are in the game in terms of completion, Blackwater has a $100 poker game. If 4 other people playing & you win, you make a profit of $400 for roughly 10 minutes work (it takes me 10 minutes to win without cheating)

In Theives Landing, if you haven't already completed the corresponding Strangers Mission, the Liars Dice game is worth $200. Beat the two players there you make a profit of $400 as well. Again, roughly 10 minutes work. If you have played Liars Dice and won the property deed - but NOT taken back to the required person, the game should still be worth $200 until you end the strangers mission by taking the deed to guy.

Other than hunting, poker & liars dice, there isn't a lot of scope for quick, easily made money unfortunately.

There is also another option for great money.
If you join the Social club (which is free), then you get the gentleman's outfit, which allows to play high stakes poker.
It costs 250 to enter, but you can haul in another 800 if you're good at it.

I've found hunting the easiest way. Tip: bait is well worth the money and try to find areas where wolves are found, worth good money and travel in packs.

on the map there may be at times a white skull which represents a bounty target. accept the bounty target and fing the location of him on your map. the bounty target will be a red skull. use your lasso and tie him up or kill him and take the evidence to the sheriff. remember lasso and hogtie always gets you more money.

playing five finger fillet is really good... you can easily make around a $1000 after 10 minutes of work once you get the hang of it... there's a pattern to what buttons come out. it is (now this is after being broken in, as in there is another simple pattern before this): cross, circle, cross, triangle, cross, square, cross, circle, cross, triangle. after doing one round of this, you repeat it(if needed. you'll see once you play). Also, if you need a place to play, there's one just outside the bar in armadillo, next to the horse ranch and rail tracks... hopes this helped!

Take a bounty, find the target, lasso and hogtie the fugitive. Leave him on the ground and wait.

There will be other outlaws coming your way. Kill and loot. They come in waves, and should not be hard. Kill and loot. Rinse and repeat.

Go to casa madrugada. You can rob and kill people all day long, without the cops showing up. Easily 1000 dollar in one day in game

You can also rob the bank in armadillo, just shoot those windows at night and crack the safes, but aware of cops

The fastest and easiest way to make money in red dead redemption is to unlock the money cheat. I forgot what it was but I have it. Anyway, when you get the cheat, turn it on, back out of the pause menu completely, go back in and turn it on again, and keep doing it until you have the amount of money you want and be sure to save. If that don't work or the game doesn't save I can't help you there because it woks for me and I can save with cheats on. By the way doing that got me up to 900,000 dollars.

There is a guy that will be shooting birds... He spawns in multiple areas. When you get close you will see birds circling in the sky and hear the sound of gun shots... This is kind of a mini game. Best way to make money I have seen... What you do is accept his challenge but lose, just wait for time to run out. You will lose the amount of money bet... Keep accepting his challenge and the bet amount will keep doubling. Make sure you have enough to make the next doubled bet... If not then shoot the 3 birds, you win all your money back that you lost, and then put on your bandana and kill him... You will loot that same amount from him. He will always respawn again, just don't know how long until he respawns.

Tall trees. Buy the property in the manzanita post and go north. Be sure to have a horse deed and use it after skinning bears, as it saves the game and the pelts. Using bolt action rifle also helps. Shoot once or twice between the eyes, and the bears dead. Move your horse(stay mounted and carry medicine) over the dead bear and get down and skin it. The cutscene should be skipped and the bear would still have it's skin on, but it has already been skinned. Saves alot of time and helps you to get ready to kill another bear which may show up. Sell all items in mexico(the farther from west elixabeth, the better)
