No one can really figure it out I'm sorry but it's just a matter of luck I have been trying to figure it out too I think it is like you pick the 1st & 3rd card one time & keep picking the same ones it might give it to you I really don't know this is my guess
After you've beat the boss on the street and take him on in the canyon theres to ways that affect chosing the card for their car. If you beat them by passing them you want to choose cards 1&3. If you beat them by having points at the end pick cards 2&4
For boss Wolf you choose 1 or 4 I did it and got lucky the car + 8000 dollars
I won by points and I chose 2 and 4 like the post above said and won 10,000 and a get out of jail free card not the pink slip.
From what I know and how long I've played carbon on my PS3 and PS2, the "Bonus Markers" boss cards are always pretty much randomized (every once in a while they may seem to have a placement trigger but they really don't). And since the game doesn't give you the chance to save after the street race or after the canyon battle before choosing the cards, your best bet is to save before the challenge (make sure you will have a good chance of beating the boss again) and just keep rechallenging them and picking random cards until you get the ones that you want
After beating Kenji, the third card is the one to get the car. Sorry because I don't know more, I'm still playing the game.
