while You can get mods on a ps3 but if you have to have a hard drive, put your save game on it, then edit it on a pc

You can do it but you have to have a jailbroke ps3 a pc and usb you will use multiman to locate the usb and install the mods from the usb it's easy and fast

Nope. I surfed the web. It is confirmed you CANNOT install mods to playstation 3 edition, as it is against the terms of use. Unless you want to jailbreak your playstation 3 and possibly corrupt Minecraft or get in huge trouble with mojang.
