After completing the game five times with one of the seven main characters (probably with a different one each time), play through the story mode again until the Duel Festival, and there you can duel her instead of Black Magician Girl, and after beating her, you unlock her as a partner as well. After completing the game five times with as I mentioned above, you can also duel and then partner up with Seiko (Sadie) right off the bat. After completing the game once, you can duel and then partner up with anyone else on the Island, who can duel, but you have to win those duels.
