Could someone please tell my son how to get this character or how to play using this character?

Sorry, but you can't. You can only play using Aiai, Meemee, Baby, and Gongon. In Story Mode, you can only play as Aiai. He is not an unlockable character. Dr. Badboon only appears in Story Mode as the bad guy. It would be cool, but you can't.
First when you complete story mode then reboot your game then finally put xxyblalblr
