Question for Soul Calibur 2
This question is for soul calibur 2.
I need help! On weapon master mode I've gone through the whole scenario but realised I was missing sub chapter 2.
I asked my friend and he said you have to have 300000+ experience points, and also complete the merope monastery mission in chapter 4.
I've tried it, but to no avail. Is my game broken? Is my friend right or wrong? If he is wrong, can you please help me because im pulling my hair out over it!

Your friend is wrong, never listen to him again.
To do this you must complete every mission in the game, including extra missions and get to rank 72.
Then redo do chapter 4 mission 3 [extra].
You then will have sub chapter 2, there ,wasnt that easy......

To begin with, you don't need any amount of expierience points to earn a new path to a new chapter. Your friend was wrong about that part.
Since I'm not playing the game right now, I'm not sure if you need to beat Merope Monastery or not, but I believe that your friend is correct about that. First thing you need to think about is " Is this level to the very north or the very south of this chapter?'.
First, find the chapter Merope is in, then determine if it is on the very top or the bottom of the screen once in the chapter. I think it is on the very bottom of the screen on whatever chapter, but if it is in the middle of other levels, it won't bring you to a new chapter.
Yes, this is all confusing, but think, " Can this level bring me through a path that will lead me out of this chapter?"
I hope this confusing formula helps you. Who knows, your PS2 could be reading the disc wrong. I hope that isn't the case.

Your friend is wrong.
All you have to do is get to level 72 which then calls you the Grand Edgemaster of the Basilisk.
You do need to beat extar chapter on Merope Monastery though,which unfortunaltly is hard.
