Question for SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs

I have a question on the level called Against the tide.

How do you throw the red smoke, what keys should you press to throw the red smoke after you defend the embassy.

Go to where the objective star is (up the stairs, but when you get up on the roof where you extract, watch for snipers).

Press R2 and go down until you get to red smoke, then hold R1 when red smoke is selected, and then you can aim, where you want it pressing R1 harder will increase the distance the red smoke will go.

Throw the grenade on to the objective star and the helicopter will tell you that he can see the smoke, then wait for extract.
