Sure. Attack all of the pile's of hay while your teammate's beat up the possum's.

Keep destroying the pile's till you find the needle. Then finishing beating the possum's.

With whatever character, I choose Puss, Chop all the hay stacks down...try not to worry about the rats, and the needle will be there once you chop them all down...it is big and just walk into it.
