How do you get past mission 8 on secret weapons over Normandy?

Right before the car gets to the boat go and land at the airfield. After that go back to the scientist and destroy the ships.

An enemy plane will come in soon, destroy it. When the subs pop up blast them. Destroy all the 88s and attack any other 190s. When it says the airbase has been captred land and grab a 57mm canon.

Return to the scientist and destroy the nest to ships. Once again you face a pair of subs. The scientist should be about free, if not target anything else you find.

I have to disagree with the above answers. You do not need to stay on top of the Doctor to protect him. Before you begin, arm yourself with the 57mm cannon. When the mission begins, start by taking out the two patrol boats, then the bridge. After that, everything on your side of the tunnel. Afterwards, attack everything on the other side of the tunnel. One thing to keep in mind, ignore any orders about staying close to the doctor and continue flying ahead taking out the bad guys. By this time, 3 BF-190s will have arrived. Destory them, then attack across the bridge. Don't forget the train. After that, take the 3 tanks, then go after the ships. When they are down, 3 more 190s will be coming. After they are gone, attack the airfield. After the 88s are history, blow up 2 of the hangars. This will slow down reinforcements until the commandos arrive. By now the doctor should be approaching the village. Land if you want to get yourself a new 190 or wait for the cut-scene. Afterwards, target lock the doctor's boat and follow him across to the island. Then you can take out the two subs. Fly over the airfield and go into a holding pattern. When the doctor asks if the island is his destination, look for the last two destoryers. When the doctor says there are men in the water, lock onto the last two subs. Sink them. End of mission.
