Question for Scooby Doo! Night of 100 Frights

How do you get the knight helmet on the side of the house it is really bugging me as I tryed everything to go near it but can't please help me thanks

On the side of it there is a gargoyle standing on a rock thing. Kill him and thunder smash the rock it will go up and take you to the knight helmet
