The gold weapons are a lot more powerful than thier standard types. Getting the gold weapons is quite a good idea and getting all ten of them unlocks a feature on the "Goodies" menu.

It's completely up to you whether you purchase them or not, Dingo_Dile thinks you should but you may think differently!

You definately should buy the Gold Weapons!

They're really powerful and they make the game so much easier!

Also, if you get them all, a section of the goodies menu is unlocked!

Yes you should because when you defeat Drek and go into challenge mode, if you keep the weapons, you need to use more ammo, if you buy the gold weapons, you save money and it'll be faster to get the RYNO

Well I'd only buy the gold weapons if you have R.Y.N.O. as I bought some of the gold weapons and now I'm having difficulty getting the 100,000 bolts I need for the R.Y.N.O. and the R.Y.N.O. is probablly more powerful too.

The gold weapons, but no weapon can compete agains the ryno.
