The only way is to break alot of stuff, no other strategy.

Well, for me, the best way to collect bolts would be to just kill all the enemies I see. It does not matter what, or who it is, if it can be destroyed then you can get a certain number of bolts from it. So, all you have to worry about is destroying all creatures that get in Ratchet's way. Also, if you plan to buy the R.Y.N.O gun then you need to stick with your plan, and not waste any money on anything. This means that you need to hold back from buying other guns or accessories, and you cannot buy any type of suit. Heck, you should even try to stop buying ammunition if you can. The absolute best way though is to go through all the levels completing the objectives while you break everything with your wrench. Soon enough, you should have a large amount of money. I'm trying to get the R.Y.N.O and what I so is try not to buy any weapons or ammo and break everything in sight. If you are far in the game then I would suggest starting over and try not to buy any weapons and save your bolts and once you get to where you can buy the R.Y.N.O you should have enough bolts to buy it. Remember, break everything you can and kill as many enemies as possible.On one of the first planets you go to, the one with all the robots cutting down trees, you can shoot down airships that are flying through the air and earn a great deal of bolts from that.

By far, the best way to get money/bolts is to get the Hologuise (after winning hoverboard race on Kalebo III). Then go to Blackwater City to the hoverboard race entry spot. But before you enter the race, put on the Hologuise. Then, when you enter the race, your Hologuise will disappear, and you will be walking, not on your hoverboard. Go to a large stack of crates that contain bolts, walk just past them so that they are out of your view, and then turn Ratchet around, and use the Taunter. This will break the boxes and give you bolts, but, since the boxes are out of your view, they will instantly recreate themselves. In other words - endless bolts/money. It's best to get a rubber band and use it to force the circle button down, so that you don't have to hold it constantly. If you leave the game in this spot, collecting bolts, overnight, you should gain about 200,000 bolts.
