I've beat this game but I still don't know how to open the black treasure chests, So how do you!

If its the chests that when you hit x on them they say ' this box is sealed I can't open them'.

You have to be a different character either magoichi or kotaro...

Hey! This is in 2022, thank you for the help.

It turns out you need to be another character to open those rad rad boxes.
