Where do you hide in meridell??? Can someone please help me? I have been trying for days, but I can't find any thing I looked at the map and got to the alley, but the door is locked and so is thebasement door thingy- I do have the guild treasureand I see the wooden thing on the roof but can't get to it! Please help!!!

There is no hiding. You have to free everywhere else before going into Meridell. In Cogham you recieve the cloak of heroes. It protects you from minions so long as you keep moving and don't stand right in front of them. Wear this by going to the items menu and then pressing square.
once you get into meridell put on your cloak, then go talk to the guy that sells you all the maps, you know the really short dude that lives right by the alley, talk to him he'll tell you what to do!

Ive done this but he keeps saying things that arent helping me and the doors still locked and I'm wearing the cloak?
