What is all them grape boxes throughout the game and what are they used for

Just collect all of them in the level and you get a red brick.
shoot the walls all of them then you'll see one. after hurting darth vader you use a bounty hunter to open this door. then destroy every thing you see and find other doors in there to. and you will find the other two.
In the levels where they appear, when you find one you will see two numbers appear. The first number is how many you've found, and the second is how many there are (usually 3). Collect all three (in freeplay mode) to activate a bonus, which is usually either a red power brick or a minikit.
The grape boxes are a reference to the PS1 game Muppets RaceMania.
