defeating sledgehammer

how do i defeat sledgehammer the first stalker if i only have a sigil stone and invisibility ring... holy water does not kill him

After you get the pliers from the concert hall in the top stairs. Head back to the house May was killed in then go in the other room and there should be a door with wires around it . Open it with the pliers. Insinde walk to the front of the room near the fireplace. There shnould be a jewelry box. Open it and get all the stuff. ( HInt: There should be a glowing arrow on the chair. Grab it! You'll need it!) After you ahve everything retern tot he concert hall then the sledge hammer guy should be there. ( I recommend saving the game!) Run around until you get from a far distance then hold down triangle the release. It should hurt him. Keep doing it til hes dead. I don't know how to avoid the attaxks he does on the groiund though..
