Formula One 2002 Cheats and Tips

1) On the 'Create New Profile' screen enter '84HOURWEEKS' and press the Start button.

2) If you get this correct you will hear a click and the text will be disappear.

3) Go to 'Cancel' on the virtual keyboard and press the X button to continue.

This Easter Egg does the following:

* Unlocks Rewards / Gallery

* Unlocks Rewards / SCTA Mode

* Unlocks Quiet Hotseat

* Unlocks Ghost Car Quick Race

* Unlocks Red Hotseat

* Unlocks Arcade TA

* Unlocks Audio (Language)

* Makes the Safety Car in SCTA Mode go very fast.

* Makes the sky color crazy in some game modes.

* Makes the crowds disappear altogether.

* Makes arcade mode 3 laps instead of 5.

To disable the Easter Egg, just exit the game, turn off or reset the ps2. Next time you load the game the things that the Easter Egg unlocked/changed will go back to normal..

On any track, put in a fairly good qualifying time. Then on you second time round stop short of the finish line. When a car comes down the finishing straight, hit into it to stop its momentum and its time should be rapidly reduced (6-12 secs). Doing this will almost guarantee you 1st place at the start of the race.

WHen i did this i got top place in 7 different races with a Toyota!
