Question for Parasite Eve 2

I am stuck on the first disk.

I was told to go down the well and i hav flint the dog but i cant go down the well.

How do I go down?

Please help!!!

Behind the garage when you come out at the forklift on your left out of screen there is a coil of rope, pick it up go back to the well use key item face rope and go down.

You have to get the rope out side of doglases trailer its in a corner near his door I think, but look around it's there....
