Yes there is but you need a gameshark cheat for it I've not found one yet I've completed the game loads of times without using any

Infinite prestige and always turn 1, get to second scenerio( el aghelia) build 5 level bombers and keep attacking vacant objective cities, keep ending turn (will always be turn 1 with cheat) until all advanced units r available(about 300 times) at end scenario(Berlin). The level bombers will become you're core units. Upgrade them in you're airport to 1 meteor fighter( to take out enemy air)1 bridge engineer(to take out entrenched cities/forts), 1 7.2 howitzer artillery( to soften up entrenched units) and 1 Sherman firefly tank( to kill all units). To change unit type, select "upgrade" and hit "x" button til you get to desired unit type. Save the game and end the scenario. You can repeat for each scenerio and keep building firefly tanks as you're core units or just keep playing from the save point and kick butt
