Unlock Dark Play:

In Arcade mode during gameplay pause the game and press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, X, Circle.

Unlock Level Select:

During the game earn a high score of at least 573,000 points then hold L1 + R1 and at the screen with Princess Merora use the D-pad to select a starting level. If you get a high score of more than 1,000,000 points you can use this feature twice.
