Buy a Relevant Gift for the Confidant

If you find that you are just aimlessly hanging out with the Confidant and not progressing you can boost relations by giving them an appropriate Gift. Gifts can only be given in non-rank-up encounters and some can only be given once you have a Romantic Relationship with that Confidant. Gifts can only be brought once in a single playthrough and if you are playing Persona 5 Royal on PlayStation 5 male Confidants will not accept them.
