Runescape 2 Mining, Smithing, Crafting, Combat, Woodcutting, and Money Making Guides


-----------------------------------------------------Mining & Smithing Guide (also partly money making)----------------------------------------------------

To start off go to varrock. There are a few mines around the city. In one of
these mines you can mine clay, tin ore and copper ore. Find the one with clay
ore and mine that. Mine about 100-1000 of these and begin mining Copper
and Tin ores. Run back and forth to the bank and deposit your ores. Do this
untill you have about 100 of each ore.

From here you have 2 options. You can either:
1. Sell all Clay in the Grand Exchange
2. Buy 14 Buckets and fill them up with water and use clay on them to make soft clay and then sell them to the Grand Exchange

For the Tin and Copper ore go to the furnace in varrock and smelt them into bronze bars. Here you will have 2 options:
1. Get a hammer and use the bronze bars on an anvil and raise smithing
2. Sell the Bronze Bars to the Grand Exchange for $$$$

By now you will certainly have at least lvl 20 mining. In one of the Varrock mines, there are iron ores. Mine the iron untill 100-500.
Never make them into bars because you have just wasted your time. There is only a 50% chance you will succeed and making an
iron bar, unless you have a special members ring (I forgot the name) but it makes it a 100% chance. So non-members just don't waste
your time. Options:
1. Keep them in bank for later on
2. Sell them to GE
3. Sell them to players begging for them (rare now-a-days, but they usually pay extra for them)

Now you will probably have lvl 25-30 mining. Go mine some Silver in the Al Kharid mine. Run back and forth to the bank untill you 
have about 100 silver ores. Options:
1. Make them into silver bars for crafting uses (not reccomended)
2. Sell to the GE (reccomended)

When you have lvl 35+ mining you should start mining some coal. There are various places to mine it, but there is some coal rocks in
Al Kharid I'm pretty sure....But I think you can search it in the world map and it will show you where to mine it. Get as many Coal ore
as you can untill lvl 45-50 mining. Options:
The same as Iron Ore.

LvL 45+
For this you will need to raise Crafting to LvL 40 and gain access to the Crafting Guild(scroll down for crafting tutorial).
By now you should at least have a Rune Pickaxe. Mine Gold Ore. If your Magic LvL is high enough then bring some runes with you to
teleport back to Falador so you can bank the gold ore and go back to the guild quicker. Keep doing this untill you have lvl 60-65 mining.
Options:
1. Smith into gold bars (not reccomended unless you really want to raise smithing)
2. Sell to the GE (Highly reccomended. Easy as money)

For the next part you can enter the mining guild in Falador (LvL 60 Mining). Mine as much Mithril Ore as possible untill LvL 75-80.
Options:
1.Just sell them to the GE unless you wanna raise smithing

80-99
Mine Adaminte Ore. Options:
1. Frigen sell to GE

Lvl 99
Congratulations. You can buy your very own Mining Skillcape for 100K from someone in the Mining Guild. Also to make money you
can mine Runite Ore. Just sell em' and you're rich!!!!!!


---------------------------------------------------------------Crafting----------------------------------------------------------------
1-5 Sheep Shearers Quest. The part in the quest where you get the wool from sheep get extra wool from them and spin them for more
xp DURING quest.
You should continue this untill lvl 10 crafting.
At lvl 10 you will need approx. 80-100 thread and 1 needle. Kill cows for cowhide and take to a tanner and tan into soft leather. Or you
can just buy about 200 soft leather from the GE. Use the needle with the soft leather and make whatever is the highest option (highest
LvL required to unlock) and make all. When you unlock a new option use that for easy XP. Keep doing this untill about lvl 20-30 crafting
.Now go to the GE and buy a Chisel and lots of uncut Sapphires. Use chisel with sapphires and sell them once they are cut. With the
money left over buy more untill you get your crafting lvl up to 40. Now you can ENTER the Crafting Guild just South-West of Falador.
To enter you will need to be wearing a Brown Apron.

For skill cape use the chisel on emeralds and rubies untill lvl 99 and then buy skillcape for 100K from crafting guild.

This depends on which combat skill(s) you are raising. You should use http://www.runehq.com for this guide.


--------------------------------------------------------------Woodcutting-------------------------------------------------------------------------

To start with WC trees outside the GE untill you've got about 500-1000 of them and sell in GE. You will probably now have lvl 20+ WC.
When you have got lvl 21 WC then buy a Mithril Hatchet and chop the Oak trees just South-West of Varrock. You may sell these if you
wish but they usually do not sell. Cut these untill Lvl 35. Now buy a Adamant Hatchet and cut Willow Logs in Draynor Village. Keep 
cutting them untill you have Lvl 70-80 WC. Bank all the Willows also. They are only worth about 10gp in the Grand Exchange but by
now you will probably have about 1-10K willows in your bank. Go to Runescape World 1 and there are usually people raising their
FireMaking (FM) skill in the GE or in Varrock more commonly. Go up and talk to them and ask what logs they are using. If they don't
answer then they are probably using an AutoFiremaker Bot. If they answer then ask them if they want to buy ???(how many willows 
you have) willow logs. If they say yes then they are probably rich because they will give you about 1M-5M for all willows.
For lvl 80-99 you can now cut Yews. There are various Yew trees scattered all accross Runescape. At lvl 99 buy your skillcape. Also
sell your yew logs because they are probably the 2nd most effective and popular way of getting rich on runescape for non-members.

------------------------------------------------------------Money Making (noobs/newbies)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. For noobs/newbies go to lumbridge on a highly populated world and pick up the bones on the ground where the goblins are after
people kill them. They usually don't pick them up so you won't have much trouble getting them. Once you've got about 100-500 sell 
them in the GE for about 40k. You can also bury them for Prayer XP.

2. Mine Tin and Copper ore and smelt into Bronze Bars. Make about 100-500 and you will make a fair bit of money.

3. Complete Rune Mysteries quest to gain access to rune essence. Mine about 1000-10000 and sell in GE.

4. Complete Rune Mysteries quest and mine/buy lots of rune essence and go to falador on World 16 (more helpful if it is highly 
populated). Should be wearing an Air Tiarra (buy one from GE) and in yoour bag you must have at least 26 UN-NOTED rune essence.
head for the South exit of Falador. Once at the gates go West untill you find a large rock that looks like it has a light shining through a 
crack in it. Because you are wearing the air tiarra click on the rock and it will teleport you to a "magical place". Come here to raise your
runecrafting. Some people will be saying 'open'. Go over and trade with them and give them all of your 26 rune essence (25 if they
have 25 inventory slots left) and they will give you 25 NOTED Rune Essence and 2K in coins. 25 Rune essence= approx. 2K +2K=4K.
With this you get a 2K profit. Run back to the bank and UN-NOTE your essence and repeat.

5. Turn clay into S\soft clay and sell in GE.


-------------------------------------------------------------Money Making (average/high levels)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.Have a high enough combat stat and buy a brass key and some armour (and food if low cb lvl with low hp) and go west of the grand 
exchange. There will be a little hut on the Varrock (east) side of the river. Enter it using your brass key and go down the ladder. Down
there are Hill Giants. Kill Them and pick up their bones (big bones) and sell to the GE. They also drop Limpwurt Roots and runes. For
lvl 60+ also down there when you go down the ladder go the opposite way to the hill gaints and you will run into some hobgoblins.
They drop bones, coins, and limpwurt roots. They have a higher chance of dropping a Limp then Hillys. 1 Limpwurt=1k+
and 1 B Bone=approx.350gp.

2. You must have the ability to use telekinetic grab and go to wizards tower. go to the second level of the tower and in one of the rooms
there is a lesser demon (lvl 89). don't worry, it cant attack you because it is inside a cage. Kill it with your Range attacks or Magic.
It usually drops coins and ashes, but very rarely it will drop a Rune Med Helm. You can sell this to the GE for approx. 20k. This 
method take VERY long.


----------------------------------------------------------Money Making (Members high levels)-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Raise theiving to lvl 28 and go to West/East Ardougne (cant remember which) and in a/some house(s) search the chests and you'll
find nature runes. You should find quite a few so u can sell them or you can keep them for magic uses.

2. Go to seer's village and go down the trapdoor and down there after a sorta long walk you will run into some blue dragons and 
baby blue dragons. Kill the Babies and pick up there baby bones ( for low lvls) and for high levels kill the dragons. pick up their bones
and d'hides and sell. Also in that dungeon there are some red spiders. Some red spiders eggs spawn down there. They can also be 
sold for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
