Ths guide for the general website, character creation of the runescape game and the tutroial island walkthrough. This guide is made toexplain to you on how to create your very own account for Runescape and how to get through tutorial island. This 
guide isa very basic guide and may not be read very often but it is very useful for all of the newcomers to the world of 
Runescape.

---How to get to Runescape and How to play (if you have an account)---

In order to get to runescape you will have to go to the main site. The main site cna  be accessed by typing in
www.runescape.com into your internet web browser. This will take you to the main site of Runescape. From here, if you
already have a account for runescape you can go to play. Then after you click this continue on and select the detail quality
that you would like to play the game in. You are able to choose High detail (128Mb RAM +500MHz CPU) or you can select
to play the game in low detail (64Mb RAM +300 MHz CPU) 

*The differences in the two qualities of play are as follows,

High detail has that, much more detail then low detail. High detail will show the grass, rocks, and other debris that scatters 
the landscape where low detail will just show the bare minnimum requirerd to play the game. 

The two qualities will also show the speed of your gaming. If you have a very good computer that has a lot of RAM to it
and it will run fast then select high detail. If you are running off of dial up or have a horrible computer then go with low detail.

Alright now that you selected the detail that you are going to play the game in it is time to select the world. The numbers
of the world don't matter, it is the country flag that is next to them and the reason for that world. 

*When I say the reason for the world on the far right of the world you will see some yellow/gold text that explains what that
world is meant for. This world has all of the same things that any other world has accept the world specilizes for something
such as a mini-game, or something else. The following is what a world can have. 

Castle Wars - If you go there you will find everyone there at castle wars
Loot Share - Here if you kill a monster with someone else you all split the loot
Trade F2p and Members - These world are dedicated for trading with other members F2p is Free players
House Parties - Here is where people throw house parties often
Running Runes - Here is where you can run certain runes
Vinesweeper, Trouble Brewing ect. - Here you play the mini game spcilized for that world
Falador Party Room - Here is where drop parties occur
Duel - Here is where everyone comes to go to the duel arena

Now for the Countries. Depending on whjat country that you resign in is the country you want to be for your server. 
Next to each server there is a country this simply means that this is where the server is located. If it says Finland 
next to the server, the server is found in Finland. If you have a good computer and Internet Connection then this 
does not really effect where you go, though if you have a poor internet connection and a bad computer you will want to pick
a server that is hosted in a country that is located near you.

The following world numbers resign in the following countries.


Worlds 1 - 9, 13 - 14, 19 - 22, 26 - 36, 38 - 48, 55 - 66, 70, 74 - 79, 85 - 91, 93 - 104, are all located in the United States
Worlds 10, 25, 50 - 51, 53 - 54, 141 - 144 are all located in the Netherlands
Worlds 11 - 12, 15 - 16, 23 - 24, 52, 67 - 69, 71, 80 - 84, 92, 105 - 106 are all located in the UK
Worlds 107 - 112 are all located in Australia
Worlds 117 - 124 are all located in Sweden
Worlds 133 - 138, 149, 150, are all located in Finland
Worlds 17 - 18, 37, 72, 113 - 116, 125 - 132, 145, 152 - 159 are all located in Canada

After you have selected the world that you want to play in it will take you too the Runescape webclient. From here you will be
able to play runescape. You will need the latest download of java which can be found at www.java.com. I hope you have an enjoyable time playing.

----Creating a New Account----

First you need to go to the runescape website at www.runescape.com. From here click on the button in the navigation bar
on the left side of your screen to create a free account (New User)

Once you have selected that you now must put in your age and the country that you are from. Click the arrow in the bar to
verify your age. Click the age range that you are. Now you must click the second arrow next to the country bar that you are
from. Select the country that you are from and then proceed.

Now you have to select the username that you want to use during your time at Runescape. Once you have slected a
username you can't change it, if you want a different username you will have to create a whole brand new account and 
start with level 1 stats. So be sure to select a username that you want.


After you have gotten your username you will be taken to the screen that is dealing with the terms and conditions of the
website. Be sure to read through them and then you have to click I agree at the bottom of the page. If you do not click
I agree it will not allow you to proceed to finish making your account.

Now it is time to make a password for your account. When you are making a password be sure that you do not choose a 
password that is too easy or a password that you will easily forget. Make you password memoriable. Also when you have
made a password do not tell your password to anyone. This is for security reasons on your account. If your account is 
hacked or stolen Jagex cannot be held responsible. Now click Create Account.

Congratulations you have now created an account for Runescape. Now you are in the final stretch of being able to play the game.

-----To Start Playing-----

Now in order to start playing click play runescape (existing user) and then select your detail and then your world. Now wait
for the runescape web client to play.

Once the webclient has finished loading type in your username and your password for your account and you will be logged in.

When you are logged on you will first appear on Tutorial Island which brings us to the next part of the walkthrough.

----Tutorial Island----

First off you must select your characters appearence. Select the clothes, colors and hair that you want your charcter to have. Be sure to select carefully because in order to change it you will have to pay money in order to change it, or or the boot,s and cuffs you have to of finished member quests and be a member in order to change it.

After you have chosen your characters appearence you can now begin the tutorial island. Talk to the man that is located
in the building that you are currently in. He will briefly explain a couple things to you and then you are able to proceed onto
the survival expert. 

Once you are done talking to the man head out of the building to the survival expert. She will teach you the following skills,
woodcutting, firemaking, cooking (briefly), and fishing. Talk tot he expert and you will recieve a woodcutting axe and a 
tinderbox. Now go and click onto the tree that is near you and you will get some logs in your inventory. Now use the tinderbox
on the logs that are in your inventory. You will now have started a fire.

Now talk to the expert again and she will give you a fishing net. Go and click onto the fishing spot that is located in the pond
that is near you, this may take a little bit but after a while you will get some shrimp. Nopw use the shrimp on the fire that you
have just made, if the fire has gone out then cut some more logs and create another fire, and now cook them. If they burn continue this process until you have cooked some shrimp. Now you are able to continue on.

Follow the path until you find a gate. Go through the gate and continue to follow the path. You will end up coming to a 
house. This house belongs to the chef that is inside. Talk to the chef and he will give you a pot of flour and a bucket of water.
Use the two items on each other and then you will get a empty pot, bucket and dough in your inventory. Use the dough
on the range that is in the house. You will now have made bread. Now go back and talk to the chef once more and now
exit through the other door that you haven't gone through yet.

Follow the path and you will find yourself at a buidling. This building has the quest tutor inside. Go into the building and 
talk to the man inside. He will be able to briefly introduce you to quests. This is a short part, once you are done talking to 
him climb down the ladder that is inside his house. 

Once you have climbed down the ladder you will find yourself in a dungeon. The next tutor that you will have to talk to is the
mining tutor. He will teach you about mining and smithing. First you will need to go to each rock and pospect them. One
will be tin and the other will be copper. (orange rock is copper and grey is tin) These two rocks when mined, the ore from it 
will be able to make bronze when you use them with a furnace. Now talk to the tutor and recieve a pickaxe from him. Mine
one ore from each rock. Now talk to the tutor again and recieve a hammer. Go to the furnace and use on of the ores with
the furnace, you will now have a bronze bar in your inventory. Now use that with the anvil that is near you. Select the bronze
dagger and you will make a bronze dagger. Now go through the gate and continue onto the combat instructor.


Now you are at the combat tutor. He will teach you about combat styles of attack including range. Later on you will learn
about prayer and magic. Talk to him and he will mock your bronze dagger and give you a bronze shortsword and a wooden
shield. Equip these two items and then enter the rat pits via the gate. Attack and kill one of the rats inside then return back
to the tutor and talk with him. He will now give you a bow and 50 bronze arrows. Equip all of the equipment and attack one of
the rats from where you are standing. You are able to attack the rats through the fence. Kill one of the rats and then continue
up through the ladder. 

Now you will follow the path and come upon the bank. Talk to the banker and he will tell you all about the bank, and how to 
earn and manage your money on the game. He will give you some helpful tips on making money so be sure to listen to him
carefully. Now exit out of the buidling and onto the monk in the chapel.

Now talk to the monk that is in the chapel. He will start to talk to you about the friends list, and the ignore list. He will 
mainly talk to your about prayer. After you are done learning about these things continye on and then go to the mages house. 

Once you are at the mgaes house tlak with the mage and he will give you air runes and mind runes that are used to cast 
wind strike. Now go into your spell book and click on the spell wind strike and then click onto one of the chickens in 
the chicken pen. This will then cast a spell on one of the chickens and doing damage. After you have had enough of this 
talk to the wizard and he will teleport you to the mainland and into the lumbridge castle court yard.

Congratulations you have now completed Tutorial Island and you are able to start your adventure.

----How to start off your Runescape Adventure----

First thing that is recommened to do is to go and talk to the Lumbridge guide. He will be able to explain briefly on what to do and everything. 

Some things that are recommened to do once you have completed tutorial island is to start training combat as that will come
in handy through out your adventure. Another thing to do is to head towards Varrock and from there start to explore. 

You can start a quest in Lumbridge castle. Turn around and head to the quest symbol and talk to the chef. This quest is very
easy and will give you good starting expirience.

This is the conclusion of the entire guide. This guide was made for the novices of Runescape and for all the people to 
help them fully understand how to start and how to know the site. I hope that you are able to play the game with ease
