-------Introduction-----

The barrows is a mini game that is found on Runescape 2. The game consists of killing brothers
and then going to a chest to recieve your reward. The rewards are the armour that the brothers
have. Though your are not gaurenteed to get the armour. You also can get runes, and money as
as reward from the game.

Many people have different ways of doing it and in this guide I will show you my method in
doing it, I have gotten a lot of very good drops. I will also generally state every aspect of
the mini game.

-----Location of the Barrows-----

The location of the barrows is after the journey through Mort Myre Swamp. You can find the
entrance to the swamp between Canafis and the exit of the Chapel After travelling
through the swamp you will come to a town, go through the town and you will come to a few
houses and a well. Continue on past those and you will find yourself at the opening in a
stone fence. Contine to go through there and you are in the Barrows.

-----Profile of the Brothers-----

Ahrim - He is the Mage of the brothers. He is at level 98 and he is one of the weaker brothers.
He uses the wave spells of your spell book. Protect from mage is highly recomended or you can
just use black dragon hide.

Karil - He is the ranger of the brothers. He also is level 98 just like ahrim. He is weak
just like his other brother ahrim. He uses a cross bow with bolt racks as ammo. All you will
need is a good range defense. If you are a lower level then prayer is recomended.

Torag - He is one of the stronger brothers. At level 115 he is very strong and has been known
to use mage with his melee. He may be a high level, though is not very hard to defeat.

Dharok - He is also one of the strongest brothers at 115. He is a power house with noted hits of 80+
He is very strong and protect from melee is highly recommended.

Guthans - He is also at level 115 though he has a special power in his armour. He has the power
to heal himself every couple of hits. So be sure to hit him hard with your hits.

Verac - Is also at level 115. He has a ability also. Though he is able to penatrate your
protect from melee prayer. His flail will break that protection so you will be using food
at this point if you are not very strong.

There are the six brothers and a small profile of them.

-----Helpful Quests------

In Search of Merque
In Aid of Merque
Priest in Peril

So far those are the only ones that I could think of that may have related to the barrows.
If I think of any more I will add them in the future.

-----Useful Items-----

In this part of the guide, I will also include a list of armour that you should also need, and
not just items that you would need. The items in this part of the gide are not just for one
trip, and you don't have to bring every item and armour mentioned in this part of the guide with
you on a trip. You can select a couple of them. I will also include them paired up with other
items in the next part of this guide.

Spade - You need this in order to even do the mini game

Food is one of the most items that you will need to bring on your adventure to the barrows.

Prayer Potions are also recommended if you are weak, or if you have a very low level of prayer.

Black dragon hide armour, this is very useful as just normal armour and also to protect
yourself when you are batteling ahrim.

Ahrim/Mystic/Splitbark all of these mage armours are very helpful when you are going to the
barrows. They will aid you.

Runes, most likely ancient magic runes. Ancient magic is the best style of magic to use
at the barrows.

Rune armour is a good melee armour if you are low on cash. It will work as long as you are
strong, or if you have a good prayer level.

There are many more different armour types that are useful though that is only a short list
of items that would help you.

Crossbows are also good if you are going to range at the barrows. They allow you to wield
a shield while you are still ranging.

Teleporting method, this is good if you are weak and when you are only able to do one trip
at a time. If you are very strong and can do more then one.

Glory Amulet, duel ring, house teleport - there are very recomended teleporting methods.

------How to do Barrows------

Alright when you come to the barrows you will need a shovel. If you don't have a shovel then
you will not be able to do the mini game.

Once in the barrows area dig with the spade on top of one of the mounds. When you dig you will
appear in a chamber. Depending on which mound you dug on, this will tell you which Barrows
brother you will be facing against.

After you have battled all five of them, you will have noticed that one of the brothers wasn't
there and that his tomb was a gateway to the underground. Well don't enter it until you have
killed the other five brothers. Once you have killed the other five brothers your kill count
should be at five and now you should enter the tomb.

Now be careful because while you are in here there are monsters and at some random point
the brother of the tomb that you haven't battled yet will appear and he will attack you.
So be ready at all times while you are down here.

Now after you have killed the sixth brother you should head to the center room in the
area beneath the surface. Here you will be able to get your reward because you have killed
all of the brothers. Though in order to get to the room you must answer a puzzle.

You will know you are at the center room because you will have to answer a puzzle to get
through the door and their will be a big chest in the middle of the room. I recommend that
you memorize on puzzle and its answer, because while you are trying to get through there
will be monsters attacking you. So memorize one puzzle and answer so when it gets there you
are able to answer fast and you can enter. Now you have to go up to the chest and open it
and you will get your reward.

You have a very small chance of getting some barrows armour though if you are a mage then you
will be getting some runes that will help.

-----Useful Methods-------

Well first of I am going to use my method. I will include the the armour and supplies that I
brought with me to the barrows and the order of my kills and so on. I make a lot of things that
I bring with me and my brother brings. I fish and cook the sharks, I make the prayer pots, and
I make the runes.

My Method,

First I will tell you my outfit.

Combat Level - 100
Prayer Level - 70
Attack - 84
Defence - 78
Strength - 77
Magic - 72
Range - 70
Hitpoints - 81

Head - Farseer Helm
Body - Ahrims Robe Top
Legs - Ahrims Robe Bottom
Boots - Infinity Boots
Gloves - Barrows Gloves
Necklace - Amulet of Fury
Ring - Ring of Wealth
Cape - Cookng Skillcape
Weapon - Ancient Staff
Shield - Mage Book

Now for my Inventory,

6 Prayer Potions
Teleport Runes to my house
Ancient Magic Runes
Shark

(Reason for house runes is I have a portal to Canafis in my house)

Alright now the order of the brother that I go through,

Verac
Dharok
Guthans
Torag
Ahrim
Karil

This varies depending on who is in the dungeon with me.

The reason for this is hat it goes from the brothers who will require me to use the most
of my resources to the least amount of resources used. Verac and Dhorak are the two brothers
that will be harder to defeat and will be the hardest of the brothers.

My Brother's method is using range.

Combat Level - 92
Prayer Level - 62
Attack - 75
Defence - 76
Strength - 74
Magic - 70
Range - 82
Hitpoints - 80

Equipment

Head - Robin Hood Hat
Body - Black Dragon hide body
Legs - Black Dragon hide
Gloves - Black Dragon hide Vambs
Amulet - Glory Amulet
Ring - Ring of Wealth
Cape - Cape of Legends
Boots - Ranger Boots
Sheild - Saradomin Book
Weapon - Rune Cross Bow

Inventory,

6 prayer pots
varrock runes, (he has 1 con and hasn't done any quests to help)
Shark

The order,

Verac
Dhorak
Guthans
Torag
Ahrim
Karil

(Copy Cat lol)

Librascythe's method

Combat Level 100
Attack 85
Strength 81
Defence 80
Mage 80
Range 70
Hitpoints 82
Prayer 60/60

Inventory that you would bring to the barrows

Head - None
Body -Black D hide/ Mystics/ Ghostly robes
Legs - Same as above
Gloves - Dark Gloves, from Recipe from disaster.
Amulet - GLory/Salve Amulet (e)
Ring - Life
Cape - Legends/God
Boots - Desert
Sheild - Unholy Book/Rune Defender
Weapon - Whip, Water Staff, Magic Short bow (steel arrows) crystal bow

Order of brothers you kill
Not to sure on names so next to it i will write weapon
Karil (crossbow)
Ahrim (Staff)
Dhorak (Axe)
Guthans (Spear)
Torags (Hammers)
Veracs (Fail)
and any other information that you want to add.
I would use protect from range prayer on kharil, with whip. then use range armor on ahrim. Then bank at burgh de rott and bring Ice Burst Spell (Ancients) for the melee. Would Carrie 1 prayer pot for dhoraks (in case of tunnel)
