Question for Virtual Villagers 5: New Believers

Why are there 2 heathen master builders, master farmers, master doctors, and master scientists in my village? Is this a glitch or not?

I do also. I've completed all of the puzzles and converted all of the red and orange masks, but now I still have one purple mask in the lab, one on the aqueduct and one chief. I'm confused!

I believe it must be a glitch because it's only happened in one of my games so I am hoping that they will either fix it or the double will die eventually.
