Ok when you make the fire you have to keep the fire going...its not going to give you the key if it goes out on it's own...what you have to do is make sure the fire is still lite...after a while you can try to take a villager over to drink and you have to pay attention and it will say that they are going to put the fire out thats how you will end up with the diamond the key...once they start putting the fire out you have to keep the letting them go back and forth to put it out (if you try to get someone to pick it up b4 it cooled they will not do it)it might take a while but you will get it...I hope this answers the question for ya...
You fire should be on for 68 hours before you get it the key went they start put water in the fire mine is time to get it the key you have to put water until the key be come cool then they graved
Your fire has to be lit for the right amount if time. This is usually ten hours, but it varies. Before the fire goes out, if you don't see sparkles, then you may as well just add the wood for the next cycle. Sometimes it helps if you have completed the weather dancing puzzle. I hope it helps!
