To heal a weaken villager you need to take a healthy villager and drag it to the unhealthy one keep doing so until the villager is healed

I don't think that works. The healthy villager can heal a SICK villager, but if they're weakened, I've had them get healthy when I dragged them - many many times! -- to the food trough, where they eat, then the game comments "The villager is feeling healthier since eating." And eventually their red line goes up into the healthy range again.
