Boredsushi, I have a few answers to your questins. They are:

1. To get two sims married, all you have to do is feed the sim you want to propose to, have fun with them (watching TV, hot tub, Vibromatic Heart Bed are some examples),use all the interactions that couples would do (hugging, kissing, complimenting are the ideal ones) then talk to them and then propose and it should work; it always does for me.

2. Or you could make the spell Get Happy on the proposee then propose to them (or I think there is another spell to get them married instantly but I don't know what it is) if you have The Sims Makin' Magic.

3. To have babies, the sims must be married first (if they live together they are already married). Then you have to make them kiss and hug a lot and make them use the heart hot tub (if you have The Sims Hot Date) and the Vibromatic Heart Bed. If you can't afford these things because your sims are running low on Simoleans, then use the very popular cheat Rosebud (Find out how to use this cheat on the Hints Page). Once you have done al these things, one of your sims may ask if they want a baby. When this comes up, click on yes and the baby in a green cot will appear as lots of flowers twirl around it.

I hope I have been able to help with your problem,

Princess of Gaming :-)

Kenny 2x4 answered:

First of all, you need to get the relationship to absolute 100% and the other sim cannot be hungry or tired, etc.
The baby thing: If your sims don't mind the fiery kiss you could use that, but the safest option would be a hell lot of passionate kisses.

Guest answered:

I can tell you that your sims don't have to be married to have a baby. All you need to do is buy a heart bed and click play with ______(your sims name) if it dosen't work the frist time keep trying or have your sims kiss alot.If you need more money press down ctrl-alt-shift-c a box will apper and then you type in rosebud;: it will say there no such cheat but keep holding down the enter button and watch your money rise.
Hope this helps you I too have no idea how to get your sims to marrySmile

I have never fully tried this, but I am sure this will work.

To get your Sims married if they live in separate houses is very easy. First you make Sim #1, let's call him Simon. You move him into his house and get him a job so that you have money for some good things. You then save. Then, you make Sim #2, let's name her Lillian. You give her a house and her neighbor Simon will come over. Spend enough time with him, and the propose button may come up. You can try, but he'll probably say no. Then, you save and go to the neighborhood. You go to Simon's house. You get him in a super good mood- a perfect one. You save, and go to the neighborhood. Click on Lillian's house, and click propose. He should be in a good enough mood that he'll say yes.

I've tried that just now and it doesn't work - she tells me that I need to talk to her more. In love, 100% on both friendship bars. Back in 2011, I stopped playing the game because it was simply not possible to make them marry on the seventh expansion! Now I'm trying it again, even with cheats, and ... it is impossible. Needs at maximum, both shortterm and longterm friendship at maximum, says no, both are in love (checked by loading her lot), so he wasn't "friendzoned". Spent about 2 weeks of pure time trying to figure this out so that I could continue playing, nothing works. :(
