How do you get the Christmas decorations to put up in your Sims house?

It is easy. Make sure you have a front door though. You regular click it and put lights up. The only thing is you have to BUY the christmas tree with sims points.

I clicked on the door, the lights option didn't come up. I don't know where to get the tree or anything else. I don't know if it cost real money or simoleons. Please somebody help!

When it is winter, click on the door of your sims home and there will be a pop-up option. Lights will also randomly appear on other sims homes. If it is any other time of the year, or you just want more lights in your neighborhood, then use the cheat code "testingcheatsenabled true" (input when you click CTRL shift and C. And Shift and click on any sims home door.

If you mean to put up holiday lights. Click on front door and put up holiday lights is an option. You have to have all the walls up to see the front door and click on it. :-)

Although the door thing is true, The testingcheatsenabled true is not, I mean yes it may work, but you need to type it in correctly which is testingCheatsenabled true Just an fyi.
