i need to get a crib on the sims 2 but it won't let me.
Okay, so I'm having a baby on the sims 2 seasons, and everytime I go to buy a crib, a sign pops up and says "this application has terminated and will now close" and it closes but I can buy anything else. And I really need a crib! Help? Ha.

If you've gotten any downloads it might have been something that came with that. Sorry to say I don't really know how to fix it but someone might know. I think just taking a download out of the game would fix it. Or it could just be a glitch.

If you backed up your game (as I do), then restore from your backup. Replacing the objects.package file with a good copy of it normally corrects object corruption. If you haven't made any backups and you haven't downloaded anything for your game, then you're going to have to uninstall and reinstall the game. If you are fond of your families and neighborhoods, then you can back them up before uninstalling. Go to My DocumentsEA GamesThe Sims 2 and copy the entire Neighborhood folder and paste it somewhere else temporarily like your desktop in order to save your sims and neighborhoods. When you are done reinstalling you can move the Neighborhood folder back and overwrite the folder. If you have downloads you want to save then you'd copy the downloads folder from that same location.

okkay so if you have a mesh or a download on your game for any baby furniture it crashes the cribs always i used to do that with all my games what happens is the meshes infect the games and its not the expansion pack at all its that the crib is infected and it dosent want you to infect your computer so it dosent let you use it, its just a minor set back.
