How do I but weapons, tools, and such on my alie's crew members when I go down to an adventure in the space stage?

I really don't think you can, but if you're the one that created the mission, you can go back and edit your mission, while your there, you can either create or choose a creature. After that, click the outfit button, (if you can't find the outfit button, it's down there at the bottom right of the screen.)
