On the main map in SP, hit ` or just type the cheat, it varies. Example: .muchkoku.

I see where you are coming from but it does not work, there has not been a developer console since Medieval II: TWGuest answered:
Type (e.g.) - .muchkoku. To get more koku. The cheat will not show on the screen. However, if you miss type even one letter, the cheat won't work.
Type it slowly and correctly. Make sure to press the period(full stop) before and after the code words.
If it doesn't work, just type it again, slowly.

I have actually tried all that stuff on my total war game but it doesn't work for me. I have the auto updates off when I have entered the game also. The only thing I get every time is the preset macro windows opening up instead of the results I was expecting. I must have entered the koku cheat a good 5 different ways and all I get are the windows for the macros. Please tell me I am not the only one this happens to.

If it does work then why isn't there a video on YouTube????? I turned off all the quick keys and exactly typed in the correct code and nothing happens. Some game developer....if your reading this don't waste your time trying the code.

Cant get it to work.
I hit " ' " and type .muchkoku. However when I start typing all sorts of menus pop up and the cheat doesnt work.
Please help. I play to kill time when I am travelling for work so don't have time to actually accumulate $$ and build stuff.

Hi guys,
.muchkoku or else was the cheat for shogun 1. In shogun 2 there are no cheats. Only artmoney works for money. Nothing else.
