How does one kill the dragon in the desert?

Simple with alot of strategic withdrawing and making sure you have alot of strong health potions and use your strongest long distance weapon if using a dwarf use land mines after upgrading that skill alot
I usually rock out a Gladiator, and come at him from the side. The biggest hazard from him is the fire, so if you stay away from the business end of him, and keep hitting him from the side, you should be fine. He will turn, but the dragon takes a while to lay out a full blaze, so as soon as you see him start, run to the side and start chopping. Also, take out all of his minions first. I usually do a quick run through and get all of his little people to follow me into the desert. 86 them, then go after him. Run in to his side, use a combo, wait till he lays a blaze and run to the side or straight into him. You'll come out the other side and can keep chopping.
