How do I fix the black screen

When I start the game up it shows the warning, and then the pixel factory words perfectly but then after that the screen foe black and all I hear is a breathing noise, when I move my curser I can hear clicking noise that indicates my curser is over clickable options but all I see is a blank screen, is there a way to fix this?

I have that same problem with my game but mine is when I enter stage 2, I don't quite understand how to fix my problem but I can probably help a bit with yours. In the folder that contains the game do you have another folder that says setup? If you do and haven't done this already then open both items in the setup box and follow the instructions, I did one of the options and it fixed some bugs in my game, though for some reason I cannot open and use the other one nothing pops up. And my black screen still persists in stage 2, it's possible that it could be frame rate issue, I hope I helped you out, and if you manage to figure it out on your own would you mind helping me?
