I have moved the arrow all oer the wick of cannon and it still won,t light how do I do it

FIRST YOU PUT THE FUZE IN THEN YOU PUT THE POWDER IN THEN THE CANNON BALL/ IT WORKED FOR ME.
You have to put the items in the cannon in one certain order. If you don't - it won't light. First the powder. Second the ball. Finally, the fuse. When you follow the correct order it will light by itself. No matches needed. If you are stuck in the cave, as I was, I don't know how to get out. I quit and started over
My answer to this is skip the game and don't get anything from Microids again.
