Question for FIFA Manager 12

The players which I bought on transfer are all ineligible to play in the league but can qualify for cup competitions. Why? And would someone kindly tell me how I can make my players eligible to play for the league as well? Thanks very much!

They prob already played for another team, or it is a registration problem .Shortlist the players you wanna buy, but wait until near the end of transfer window to actually buy them then registration is near the end of the transfer window. If someone try to buy them you will be notified then you will be forced into bidding war.

because u didnt register him to play for that league . we must register 24 player of sort of that to play . the players remaining will not play .

I changed the transfer status to available for loan,and a few games later I could play them

If I am not mistaken, League Squad Selection comes earlier in the transfer season than Cup selection. I am certain that International cup selection comes toward the very end (Not sure about domestic cups).

If that's the case, you won't be able to use them until the following season. Make sure to register them during squad selection.

But why I can't still use that player at a new seasons which I buy last season? They still indicate not eligible to play.

It is an utter shite problem needing a fix but the makers have not sorted it our for years.

My Bilbao first team have a reasonable squad of 21 but everyone of my reserve team are ineligible, despite the majority of them playing last year. Pointless playing the same team over a longer period if these sort of problems arise, and they have always happened.
