So whenever Rome demands food or goods it seems like I can't get enough made on time. Ex: Rome demands meat 30 on hand 2. Im not sure I understand storing things in the wherehouses and graineries either because it always says food stocks are low. Please explain if you don't mind. Thanks- Jacobs mom

Build alot of food building and reduce the consumption ratio in warehouses and granaries.

Karel answered:

As far a I know, food stocks are measured in your markets, and not in your granaries. So even if you have 20 granaries full of food, you may still get the message that food stocks are low. As long as all your people have food this is no problem, but if you want higher food stocks, just build a lot of markets and food stocks should go up.

If Rome requests for e.g. 30 furniture in 1 year, it's easy to fulfill. Build like 2 lumber camps and 4 furniture factories (that should do it, I think, but if you have only 10 furniture after 6 months you better build 2 extra factories and an extra lumber camp), put a warehouse somewhere nearby, select the warehouse, click on 'orders' and put all slider bars on 0 except for furniture, which needs to be put on maximum (since you need a lot of stored furniture). Then go to your resources advisor, and check the 'stockpile' checkbox near furniture. When you have enough furniture, ship it and uncheck the 'stockpile' checkbox you checked. You can then also open the warehouse for other kinds of stuff. Note that stuff stored in your factories also counts as stored stuff which can be shipped to Rome. I hope this information was somewhat useful to you Smile
