When playing in leagues where the teams use transfer fees create a new general manager for the team with the player you want. Then change general managers to your one and find the player you want to buy. On the screen which asks you how much the transfer fees are, select 0k. Your other general manager will recieve a message about the offer. Click respond, then accept. That way you will have paid no money on transfer fees. However, there is no guarente you will get the player as they might not want to move or you can't afford the wages
