Mortimer Beckett and the Lost King Cheats and Tips

When I did it, it did let me know when I got it right, but it took some fiddling.
Start by looking for the the border pieces & fitting them together. They are pretty irregular, so there is only one right way to put them together. There will be a couple gaps for fins. The pieces which connect to the border are fairly obvious, especially the head & the tail. The ones in the middle are tricky, or were for me, because the side fins weren't really the shape I was expecting.

Go back to the house at the garden and visit the room with paintings. One out of the 3 paintings shows a man holding a globe. Behind the globe there's a bookshelf which shows the combination that you need. List them down as this is not noted in the notebook of Mortimer. Go back to the room with the bookshelf. Arrange the books on the bookshelf so that the letters and numbers are in the same order that was shown on the picture in the house at the garden. Hope this helps... Or, just re-arrange it this way: 2S73LT ( upper books), 6A415E (lower books). Good luck! Use the glow powder on the nut. It will turn blue and glowing. Once you do that you can see the glow when they are being moved.

After much wasted time, I knew a clue had to be somewhere. I wondered what was the purpose of the three pictures (enter the house through the locked door while in the garden). After shuffling them I noticed a bookshelf in the picture of the old man. There is the correct sequence. First shelf: 2573LT; Second shelf: 6A415E.
