Hot Rod: American Street Drag Cheats and Tips

Use the following names when creating a new player to unlock the corresponding effects.

Start with lots of $ and Cars:

MOISDNE

Unlock Brain Car:

Brain

Unlock Invader Car:

Invader

Unlock Repto Car:

Reptomicus

Unlock She Beast Car:

SheBeast

First, download a hex editor at http://www.sweetscape.com/010editor/ .Once the editor is installed and running, click the open file button in the top left. Find the directory which contains all the game files ( usually Program Files/ ValuSoft/ CanopyGames/ HotRodAmericanStreetDrag ). Open the file named 'PlayerProfile00.cfg. To verify this is the correct file, in the top right is your profile name. Place your cursor before the first two digets ( numbers, letters or both ) at line 0020h: column c and type the following: 09 60 d8 3c. Close the profile by mouse clicking the X in the top right. Click on ' yes ' to save the changes. Close the hex editor and play the game!
