Gwent: Rogue Mage is available on PC. Take a look at our cheats and tips to get help in the game.
Gwent: Rogue Mage is the first single-player expansion done for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. It combines elements of roguelike, deckbuilding, and strategy games with Gwent card battles.
Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should build your deck around the key cards and why it is essential that you experiment with different builds.
At the beginning of a run in Gwent: Rogue Mage you must choose one of three key cards for your deck. These cards have unique and powerful effects, and it is these cards you should build your deck around as you try to create as much synergy as possible. The key cards also play into the strengths of their respective deck types which have different ways of achieving their goal.
Playing with new cards and artifacts will likely result in you losing several times but in the process it will make you much more knowledgeable about what strategies do and don't work. Experiment with as many different builds and ideas as possible instead of finding a favorite strategy or card combo and continually using it over and over again.
Pick cards and treasures that will not only enable your run to reach the boss but also defeat it when you reach the final battle at the end. The best strategy is to try and save as much energy as possible early on so when you eventually encounter the boss you will be able to cast spells on every single turn.
