Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes Cheats and Tips

The following procedure involves editing a game file so it is advised that you create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Find the 'quests.xml' file in the game directory and using a text editor increase the value of the XP lines (keep it within reason to avoid losing bonuses that happen with level ups). Values of 500 to 1,000 XP for each quest will work well until you get further into the game and are at higher levels. Note: ALL the quests have a Quest # which gives you clues as to what quest it effects.

Type 'zaphod' (without the quotes) during gameplay to enable cheat mode and display the console window. Then enter one of the following codes then press 'Enter' to activate the corresponding effect (the console will close). To enter another code press the '~' (tilde) key to display the console window again. Note: ALL codes are case sensitive.

God Mode:

Type 'god'

Heal Group:

Type 'healall'

Keep Same Character for Attacks:

Type 'hold campaign'

Kill Selected Target:

Type 'kill'

Load Indicated Game

Type 'load (filename)'

Disable Dialogs:

Type 'toggle important

Save Game:

Type 'save (filename)'

Set Character Level:

Type 'set charlevel (number)'

Set Hero:
