In some maps there will be places that will have useful spots to drop a smoke grenade or flashbang. Often those spots will be difficult to reach and will require you to bounce the grenade off a wall or perform some other trick to place the detonation precisely. It is important that you learn all the callouts for the different maps. Every spot of every map will have names such as 'Inferno' and 'Nuke' that the community uses to communicate over voice comms. Knowing these callout names is crucial for communicating with your team as they tell you the whereabouts of the enemy.

Although you will lose badly to begin with a good way to learn how to play the game quickly is to play matches against people who are better than you. Surrounding yourself with skilled players will help you to pick up the different strategies and tactics.

Headshots are an important aspect of the game and a good way to practice your rifle aim is to play aim maps. Aim maps are built specifically in a way that forces you to have a precise aim as only the the opposing players heads will be exposed during the game.
