Championship Manager 01/02 Cheats and Tips

Go into the Game Editor and choose your Team from the List.

In the box on the right you'll see the clubs statistics.

Change your clubs training and reputation stat to 20. You can now change the bank balance of your club to the maximum 149million.

Next click on the stadia tab and find your clubs ground (you'll need to know the name of the stadium)

Change the capacity to whatever you want but be warned that a bigger ground comes with bigger maintainance costs so go for no more than 250'000.

Save you edited info and start a new game with your team. You will now have around 60 million to spend on players and you will never run out of money due to your massive crowds!! Also because of your high reputation you will be able to attract the best players.

If you have the common problem with buying players like Aghahowa, Tsigalko and Ororonkwo etc then you can take control of their national team and start playing them to build up their appearances internationally which helps.

However I just add a second nationality that is a european country using the editor database meaning no work permit is required and they retain their original nationality. You could say it's cheating but with the EU nowadays it's just bringing the system up to date imo. Why should you not be able to easily combine the best league in the world with the best players?! Great players for climbing up the league with minnows, some of them will be priced out by wages initially but a good squad clear out and a promotion should see you right with most of the below:

Cant bleve no1 has suggested this he'll cost you btween 15 and 19 mil to start but will be the top scorer in the game for at least 5 season if you make him mark the keeper. Also CHERNO SAMBA cheap becomes great.

He begins at Derby, can play anywhere in midfield or upfront and you can normally pick him up for around �400k. Maybe not a bargain to start with, but his value can reach �15m once he's about 26, aslong as he's played and your team is good enough.

Also the legend that is Sergey Nikiforenko. An offer of about �130k should get him, which rises to �11m in 3 seasons. English clubs beware, he struggles for a work permit.

6. From the team form on the right, change the clubs reputation to 20

7. You can then change the amount of money that you club has

8. click on the squad icon on the team form

9. From here you can change the players you by, clicking delete at the bottom of the squad list

10. Finally you can now add any player to your club that you wish, by just clicking on add then scrolling to the player that you want.

When this is done click save, then press Alt+F4 to shut the win..

Bojan Djordjic (Man Utd) - Give him a season or so and he will become one of your best players.

If you want a really good player for the lower divisions, then buy Joao Paiva on a free. He will go to practically any club at all.

When I got him at Barry Town it was only half way through the season, and, no kidding, he had scored 55 goals in 39 games!

His wage is low which is handy, but make sure that his release clause is high so that you don't get ripped off.
