best character
The most effeicient class to make youre main character is a fighter/mage that way he can use any weapon plus spells sure he can't use armor or his spells will be disabled but once you raise about 20,000 gold you can buy a robe of the good/neutral/evil archmagi at highhedge it has an awesome defense it brought my guy's ac to -2!
