Overwatch 2 Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should use the Practice Range and why you should focus on completing the challenges on the battle pass.

Try All the Heroes

Not all the characters will be immediately available in Overwatch 2 due to the game's guided First Time User Restriction, which limits who you can play. As you play more games and unlock more heroes it is recommended that you test each of them in order to find ones that suit your playstyle, then when you have found 2 or 3 you feel comfortable with you should make an effort to learn the ins and outs of them. Ideally you should choose one hero from each role. The best starter heroes for each role:

Damage - Soldier: 76, Reaper

Tank - Reinhardt

Support - Lucio, Moira

Learn the Modes

It is essential when you begin playing Overwatch 2 that you familiarize yourself with the various modes that make up the game. Overwatch 2 rotates a range of unique modes that are often based on objective control and payload escorts, it is important that you have a firm grasp on how each one works and what you are expected to do to win.

Familiarize Yourself with All Maps

There are 30 different maps in Overwatch 2, and it is important in order to become a skilled player you learn the intricacies of each of them. This means having a solid knowledge of their layouts and where the choke points are located in each of them. It is recommended that you explore maps in custom games where you will be able to do so without being rushed by a timer or having the constant threat of enemies attacking you.

Spend Time in the Practice Range

During Overwatch 2's mandatory tutorial you will be introduced to the Practice Range. Take advantage of this feature to try out new characters that you unlock and get to grips with the different mechanics of the game. You can also practice vs. AI which will give you a reel-game feel without having the pressure of worrying about the expectations of other players.

Tweak your Settings

The default settings of Overwatch 2 will not suit everyone so be sure to take a look at the customizable settings to create a configuration you feel comfortable using. Customizing your settings is particularly important if you are using an older rig that sits on or near the minimum system requirements as turning down graphical settings to get a frame rate bump will not only improve your experience but also increase your chances of success in-game.

Play a Team

It is crucial that you stick with your teammates in Overwatch 2 as you will not survive long trying to take on an enemy team alone. If you move and engage the opposition with your teammates you will have a lot more success especially if your team works as one defensively-minded unit.

Communicate with Teammates

Communication with your teammates is integral to winning games in Overwatch 2. Whether by typing or speaking you should keep a steady back and forth with your teammates detailing what is happening around you. Doing this will not only help with coordination and teamwork it will also enable you to pick up useful tips and tricks from more experienced players.

Use the Ping System

Take advantage of the new Ping System in Overwatch 2 which can be used to trigger a range of callouts, these include enemy location, fallback prompts, healing requests, and even a countdown to time attacks and coordinate ultimates.

Focus on the Battle Pass Challenges

The battle pass is brand new in Overwatch 2 and is a big part of the game. Make sure you focus on completing daily and weekly challenges, so you can reach level 55 and unlock the new support character Kiriko or the new Mythic Genji skin. Note: If you paid $10 for the battle pass you will get Kiriko free.
