Full Review for Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis by the bummer 09

Introduction

Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis is definately one of the best game's I have ever played. The fact that you can create you own mission's and level's makes the game extremely exciting. I recommend all gamer's that fancy war games or like playing a fun, graphic game to get this game, however i'm not quite sure if it is still available for purchase at shops.

Graphics

The Graphic's are very uniqe. The toughness your character has is very realistic. For example, when your character has been shot in the leg, he has to go prone and crawl for the rest of the mission.

The tanks and soldier's are ulta-real, acting like normal soldier's from the Russian/US army.

Sound

The sound's are really cool. I think the soundtrack (Author: Seventh) is the best thing about the sound, I use the soundtrack for every mission I create. I have even downloaded the songs found within the game. The environment sounds are also very good. The explosions and gunfire send my surround sound through the window.

Gameplay

The gameplay is very exciting with over 30 vehicles to drive or fly, the number of weapon's you can pickup and use, the 3D environment and the MIssion Editor make it very fun and can leave you sitting in front of your computer for day's and day's...Litterally!

Lastability

This game last's a very long time without getting bored. I myself haven't got bored of it yet, and I'm planning in fact, on playing it right after this Review is submited. The Mission Editor is the ingredient in keeping this game alive. It is easy to use and let's you create any scenario in your imagination. Just imagine sending an army of 100 tanks toward your character and all you have is a bazooka, well guess what, you can!

So, the Mission Editor makes this game have long lastability, if you don't know how to use it, I recommend you learn right away, and don't forget to turn on the advanced option when creating a map.

Overall

If you do not have this game, I recommend you get it right away. I enjoy this game so much, that I have decided to make it a 10/10. I've had this game since the year 2000-2006 and i'm still playing it! If you disagree with my rating, then think of another game that deserves 10/10, you'll be out of luck.
